    Rocky: The Complete Saga

    Feature  >  Drama
All six movies from the popular 'Rocky' franchise. In 'Rocky' (1976), club fighter Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) has hit rock bottom. Having turned 30, his boxing career is pretty much over and he now makes a living collecting payments for a loan shark. Things start to look up when he begins dating Adrian (Talia Shire), sister of his friend Paulie (Burt Young). However, when world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) decides to take on a 'nobody' in his title fight, Rocky finds himself chosen. Encouraged by his coach, Mickey (Burgess Meredith), he begins training for the big fight - much to Adrian's disapproval. In 'Rocky 2' (1979), Rocky's life returns to normality following his battle with world heavyweight champion Apollo Creed. Anxious to prove that Rocky's performance was a mere fluke, Creed offers him a big money rematch. Now unemployed and with a child on the way, Rocky has little option but to accept. In 'Rocky 3' (1982), now world champion and having enjoyed ten wins in three years, Rocky has become over-confident and complacent. He pays the price when he is humiliated in the ring by Clubber Price (Mr T), and this disaster is compounded when Rocky's trusted trainer dies. Determined to reclaim his reputation, Rocky unexpectedly turns to his old adversary Apollo Creed for help. In 'Rocky 4' (1985), Rocky heads to the Soviet Union after Russian boxer Drago (Dolph Lundgren) beats Apollo Creed to death in the ring. However, will the Italian stallion be able to vanquish a fighter whose punches can deliver a one tonne-per-square inch impact? In 'Rocky 5' (1990), robbed of his millions and brain-damaged after years in the ring, Rocky is forced to move back to his old neighbourhood. Rocky Junior (Sage Stallone) finds it difficult to adjust to these hard times, and feels further alienated when his father takes on a protege. In 'Rocky Balboa' (2006), Rocky is now a 50-something widower after the death of his beloved Adrian. His relationship with his son has also deteriorated and Rocky finds his only solace in the stories he recounts to the customers who visit his deli. However, everything is about to change as a 'what if' debate emerges as to whether current champion Mason 'The Line' Dixon (Antonio Tarver) would have been able to beat Rocky in his prime. Nobody ever suspects that the match might actually happen, given the 30-year age difference. However, when Dixon's management sets up an exhibition fight, the gauntlet is well and truly thrown down and an enthusiastic Rocky grasps it with both hands.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1-3

    Feature  >  Comedy
All three films of the comedy franchise based on Jeff Kinney's best-selling illustrated novel detailing the trials and tribulations of a wise-cracking pre-teen. 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' (2010) follows 12-year-old Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon), who, along with his best friend, Rowley (Robert Capron), spends his days negotiating the minefield that is middle school. Whether dodging bullies, learning complex and seemingly ever-changing social codes, grappling with the onset of puberty or attempting to fathom the mysteries of the opposite sex, Greg writes it all down in his diary. In 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2 - Rodrick Rules' (2011), just when he thought life couldn't get any more complicated, Greg is horrified to discover that his older brother, Rodrick (Devon Bostick), has taken possession of his secret diary. Meanwhile, he must navigate the hurdles posed by a summer swimming contest and the school talent show. Finally, in 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid 3 - Dog Days' (2012), Greg is having his worst summer ever. A self-confessed 'indoor person', all he wants to do is spend his holidays playing computer games in his room with the curtains drawn. But his mother has other ideas and packs him off with Rowley to stay at a country club, where - to Greg's horror - outdoor activites and family bonding are the order of the day.

X-Men Franchise - The Cerebro Collection

The first seven films of the 'X-Men' franchise starring Hugh Jackman as James 'Logan' Howlett, aka Wolverine. In 'X-Men' (2000), mutants Professor Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and Magneto (Ian McKellen) are former friends, but look set to become mortal enemies when fascist US senator Robert Kelly (Bruce Davison) calls for the registration of all humans with abnormal powers. While telepath Xavier, who runs an altruistic academy for superhuman 'X-Men', wishes to enlighten non-mutants and break down the prejudices which divide them, Magneto believes that the only solution is for the mutants to take over. Wolverine - an aggressive loner with an admantium skeleton and the ability to heal his body of any wound - and teenager Rogue (Anna Paquin), who can absorb the life force of others simply by touching them, are selected by Xavier to join his academy, but it isn't long before Magneto's followers attempt to capture them so that they can assist in his plan for world domination. In 'X-Men 2' (2003), Xavier, Wolverine and the X-Men find themselves in the firing line after a failed assassination attempt on the president points the finger at the school. It was in fact the mysterious teleporter Nightwalker (Alan Cumming) who ordered it, and, in an attempt to clear their names, the X-Men are led into a trap set by the evil William Stryker (Brian Cox), a mysterious scientist apparently working for the government. As it soon becomes evident that Stryker's agenda is to destroy all mutants, the X-Men call in the help of many of their old friends and foes, including Magneto, in an effort to stop Stryker in his tracks. In the third film, 'X-Men: The Last Stand' (2006), the mutants are given the option of being 'cured' of their powers and becoming human after a private laboratory supported by the government finds a way to use the DNA of a powerful boy to get rid of unwanted mutations. However, Magneto opposes the idea and decides to join a force to fight against the government and kill the mutant boy. Meanwhile, Jean Grey (Famke Janssen) resurrects with the personality of the powerful Dark Phoenix. She destroys Xavier and Cyclops (James Marsden) and allies herself to the evil forces of Magneto, making them almost invincible. In 'X-Men Origins: Wolverine' (2009), the fourth film in the franchise and prequel to the first three, Hugh Jackman reprises his role as Wolverine, who, some 20 years before the action of the original movie, is seeking revenge on his half-brother Victor Creed (Liev Schreiber) for the death of his girlfriend, and eventually signs up to the ominous Weapon X programme. 'X-Men: First Class' (2011) charts the beginning of the saga following Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender) through their formative years in the 1960s as they come to terms with their newfound superpowers. Initially close friends who work together to fight against evil, the two men are driven apart by a conflict of opinion that ultimately leads to the eternal war between Magneto's Brotherhood and Professor X's X-Men. In 'The Wolverine' (2013), Hugh Jackman returns as the clawed mutant who finds himself vulnerable, alone and at his lowest point after losing his connection with the outside world. Drawn to modern-day Japan by the gratitude of a wealthy industrialist from his past who secretly covets his healing powers, Logan soon finds himself up against the deadly charms of a femme fatale known as 'The Viper' (Svetlana Khodchenkova), whilst having to confront samurai steel and lethal ninjas as his destiny draws him towards a winner-takes-all battle with his ultimate foe, The Silver Samurai (Will Yun Lee). 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' (2014) develops a storyline that alternates between the past and present, with the film acting as a direct sequel to three separate films, 'X-Men: The Last Stand' (2006), 'X-Men: First Class' (2011) and 'The Wolverine' (2013). When news reaches Xavier (Stewart) and Storm (Halle Berry) that the aftermath of the battle led by Magneto (McKellan) has resulted in imminent annihilation of all humans and mutants, they decide to send the ageless Wolverine back in time to attempt to change the course of events. In the past, Wolverine must team up with the younger incarnations of the X-Men, Xavier (McAvoy), Magneto (Fassbender) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), to avert disaster. Will he succeed?

They are attending a party at Holly's high-rise office block when terrorists, led by the suave Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman), break in, taking everyone hostage. McClane manages to evade capture, however, and sets out to rescue his wife and the other prisoners. In 'Die Hard 2 - Die Harder' (1990), John McClane is again set to meet up with Holly on Christmas Eve, this time at Dulles International Airport in Washington DC. However, when terrorists take over the airport in an attempt to rescue dictator Esperanza (Franco Nero) from his incoming flight, it is up to McClane to restore order and ensure that Holly's plane lands safely. In 'Die Hard With a Vengeance' (1995), McClane becomes involved in a twisted game of Simon Says when an evil terrorist (Jeremy Irons) sends him dashing all over the city in an effort to find a series of explosive devices. Teaming up with electrician Zeus Carver (Samuel L. Jackson), McClane soon discovers that the bombs are an elaborate ruse intended to provide cover for a billion dollar bank job. 'Die Hard 4.0' (2007) finds McClane routinely asked to bring in computer hacker Matt Farrell (Justin Long) for questioning. In transit, events overtake them as they witness a full-scale cyber attack on the country's infrastructure led by mystery man Thomas Gabriel (Timothy Olyphant), who plans to systematically shut down or destroy the nation's major networks over three days. McClane and his hacker friend have to stop the mastermind before it's too late. Feature  >  Comedy
Comedy double. Ben Stiller, Robin Williams, Mickey Rooney and Dick Van Dyke star in 'Night at the Museum' (2006). Larry Daley (Stiller) is a kind-hearted dreamer who always knew that he was destined for greatness, he just never quite knew how. None of his ideas or inventions have panned out, so with a heavy heart, he takes a regular job as a lowly graveyard-shift security guard at the Museum of Natural History in order to provide a more stable life for himself and his ten-year-old son. On his first night on the job, however, he finds that the guardianship of the museum is far from stable. At nightfall an Egyptian spell brings the artefacts and wax figures to life. With Attila the Hun charging to war through the hallways, the diorama miniatures embroiled in a deadly feud, and a two-ton Tyrannosaurus Rex nagging to play fetch, Larry turns to a wax replica of President Roosevelt (Williams) for a little advice on keeping things intact. The sequel, 'Night at the Museum 2: Escape From The Smithsmonian' (2009), also boasts a star-studded cast including Stiller, Williams, Amy Adams, Owen Wilson, Hank Azaria, Bill Hader, Ricky Gervais and Steve Coogan. Stiller reprises his role as Larry Daley, the hapless security guard who encounters living and breathing museum exhibits. This time round, the Museum of Natural History has been closed for renovations, and the museum pieces moved into federal storage at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, where the collection includes artefacts associated with many of the great figures of American history including Theodore Roosevelt (Williams), Amelia Earhart (Adams), General Custer (Hader) and Al Capone (Jon Bernthal). Larry must infiltrate the museum's tight security to rescue Jedediah (Wilson) and Octavius (Coogan), who have been shipped there by mistake.

    Feature  >  Sci-Fi
The first three Star Wars films reworked as creator George Lucas intended. Using state-of-the-art technology, Lucas and his team cleaned up the prints, updated the special effects and added new footage. Originally released before 'Episode I - The Phantom Menace' (1999) the films have been renamed to fit in with Lucas's original vision. The story follows the adventures of a band of fearless rebels who try to take on the might of the awesome Empire, led by the evil Emperor and Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Vader (Dave Prowse). Throughout their quest, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), R2-D2 (Kenny Baker) and C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) meet terrifying foes, new allies and bizarre creatures. In 'Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope' (1977), on discovering a secret hidden inside a droid that his family have bought, young farmhand Luke Skywalker becomes involved in a battle between the forces of light and the evil Empire. Along the way he meets up with a Jedi Knight (Alec Guinness), a roguish space pilot, a beautiful princess and an evil tyrant. In 'Star Wars Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back' (1980), after the destruction of the Death Star, the rebels led by Luke and Leia are on the run from the vengeful Empire. Holed up on an inhospitable ice planet, they are soon discovered and must flee across the galaxy. Luke decides to visit an old Jedi Knight while Han and Leia become involved in a game of cat and mouse with Vader and a host of bounty hunters led by Boba Fett (Jeremy Bulloch). In 'Star Wars Episode VI - Return of the Jedi' (1983), with Han being held captive by Jabba the Hutt (voice of Larry Ward), his friends Luke, Leia, Lando (Billy Dee Williams), Chewbacca, R2-D2 and C-3PO plan a rescue mission. Then the intrepid group must make another assault on the new, more powerful Death Star and Luke must face his destiny in the shape of Darth Vader and the Emperor.

    Taken/Taken 2/Taken 3

All three films in the action series starring Liam Neeson as retired CIA operative Bryan Mills. In 'Taken' (2008), Mills is forced to resurrect the skills he learned in his old job after his 17-year-old daughter Kim (Maggie Grace) is kidnapped by Albanian sex slave traffickers while travelling with a friend in Europe. As Mills consults his former colleagues for advice on the situation, statistics show that the Albanian criminals rarely keep their prisoners alive for more than four days, giving Mills a tight timeframe in which to save his daughter's life. In 'Taken 2' (2012), Murad (Rade Serbedzija), the father of a kidnapper killed by Mills in the first film, makes a bid for retribution by taking Mills and his wife Lenny (Famke Janssen) hostage in Istanbul. Now their daughter, Kim, must swing into action and act swiftly to save her parents. In 'Taken 3' (2015), Mills discovers his wife's dead body in their bedroom and quickly realises that he is being framed for her murder. As he works to clear his name and battles against relentless police inspector Franck Dotzler (Forest Whitaker) he must fight to protect the one last thing he has left in the world: his daughter.

    Shirley Temple: The Collection

A collection of five films starring 1930s curly-haired child star Shirley Temple. In 'Heidi' (1937), an adaptation of Johanna Spyri's classic tale, Swiss orphan Heidi (Temple) is sent to live in the mountains with her grandfather. Amongst the passengers is Tommy (Robert Young), a playboy who takes her under his wing. In musical drama 'Captain January' (1936), Temple plays Star, the child of a broken home who is taken in by taciturn but loveable lighthouse keeper Captain January (Guy Kibbee). In 'Poor Little Rich Girl' (1936), a remake of the 1917 Mary Pickford picture of the same title, Temple plays Barbara Barry, the neglected child of a rich widower, who ends up in the care of vaudeville entertainers Jerry and Jimmy Dolan (Alice Faye and Jack Haley). Finally, 'Our Little Girl' (1935) is a family drama starring Temple as Molly Middleton, a little girl who runs away from home when her parents' marriage turns sour.

A collection of films starring Jennifer Aniston. In 'Marley and Me' (2008) John and Jenny Grogan (Owen Wilson and Aniston) adopt an adorably naughty golden Labrador puppy soon after they are married. Despite his wayward behaviour, the pooch remains with them through the years as they raise children, move home, change jobs and experience the ups and downs of family life. In 'Picture Perfect' (1997) Kate (Aniston) is an ambitious career girl who wants to climb the career ladder but her boss really only gives promotions to people who are attached. To achieve this, she pretends that she is due to marry Nick (Jay Mohr), a man she met at a wedding recently and whom she only really knows through a photograph she got from her friend. Kate is meanwhile attracted to her co-worker, Sam (Kevin Bacon), who is only interested in women who are attached. In 'She's the One' (1996) New York cabbie Mickey (Edward Burns) and his stockbroker brother, Francis (Mike McGlone), find themselves in a confusing love triangle after following the advice of their father (John Mahoney) to do whatever makes them happy. Just as Mickey weds his girlfriend, Hope (Maxine Bahns), Francis announces his divorce from Renee (Jennifer Aniston) and intention to marry Heather (Cameron Diaz), Mickey's ex-fiancée. In 'The Good Girl' (2002) Justine Last (Aniston)'s life is going nowhere: her husband (John C. Reilly) spends most of the time getting stoned with his best friend, Bubba (Tim Blake Nelson), and she has a dead-end job at the cosmetics desk in a department store. However, all is about to change when fellow worker Tom (Jake Gyllenhaal) - who likes to be called Holden after the main character in 'The Catcher in the Rye' - decides to show Justine just what life can really be like and what she has been missing. In 'The Object of My Affection' (1998), even though social worker Nina (Aniston) has a boyfriend, the man she feels closest to is her schoolteacher friend, George (Paul Rudd). When George is forced to move in with Nina, the relationship between the two becomes even more intense. Nina falls pregnant, but decides she would prefer to raise her child with George, rather than its natural father.
